Pharmacology
The Pharmacology event was held at the University of Sydney on December 6 and 7, 2008. These are the proceedings in book format. Topics focused on therapies for small animal hypertension, vasodilators in canine congestive heart failure, anticoagulant therapy, updates on gastrointestinal therapy, treatment of degenerative joint disease, opioid analgesics, new drugs and techniques in small animal anaesthesia, insulin preparations for diabetic dogs and cats, anticonvulsant therapy, treatment of non-infectious inflammatory CNS disease (GME) in dogs and the management of hyperadrenocorticism in dogs.
