Learning outcomes: Treatment of feline cardiomyopathies
Cardiomyopathies, and particularly hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, are very common cardiac diseases in cats. Treatment of cardiomyopathies is usually directed at controlling signs of congestive heart failure, preventing occurrence of recurrence of systemic thromboembolism or delaying/preventing/reversing progression of subclinical disease. During this webinar therapeutic strategies for hypothetical cases of cardiomyopathies are discussed, while also discussing documented evidence supporting the therapeutic decisions.
