Modules
- Method of Eye Examination, Breed Predisposition: Focuses on the fundamental anatomy and physiology of the eye, detailed eye examinations, and breed predispositions.
- Applied Ocular Pharmacology, Ocular Emergencies, Differential Diagnoses: Covers essential ocular pharmacology, management of emergencies like globe prolapse, and formulating differential diagnoses.
- Ocular Surgery: Provides comprehensive insights into common ocular surgeries supported by detailed notes, photos, and videos. These techniques are covered again in the workshop.
- Vision Loss & Ocular Discharge: Addresses common causes of vision loss across different age groups in dogs and cats and discusses the management of ocular discharge.
- The Red Eye: Part 1 – Conjunctivitis: Details the diagnosis and management of conjunctivitis in dogs, cats, and horses, including considerations for dry eye.
- The Red Eye: Part 2 – Uveitis: Focuses on recognising and treating uveitis, understanding its potential sequelae, and investigating underlying causes. Inflammation of the eye is a serious condition. It needs to be recognised promptly and treated aggressively.
- The Cornea: Explores management of corneal ulcers, keratitis, and other corneal diseases, including newer treatment techniques.
- The Eyelids: Discusses conditions affecting the eyelids such as entropion, ectropion, and blepharitis.
- Blue Eye – Glaucoma, lens luxation & lipid aqueous: Includes topics on glaucoma, lens luxation, and cataracts, with a focus on prophylactic therapy for the remaining eye in cases of glaucoma.
