Clinical Neurology Distance Education

Clinical Neurology Distance Education

Are you confident in your clinical decision making when a neurological case presents?
Do you know what to look for when considering referral? Complete this course to boost your confidence in managing those challenging neurological cases that are often passed on to specialists.

Neurological cases can be intimidating and are frequently referred to specialists. This course aims to clarify the process of localisation and build your confidence in handling these complex cases.

Starting with the fundamentals of clinical neurology and an introduction to neuroanatomical localisation, the course is designed to help you develop a logical, stepwise approach to neurological presentations. Each module addresses a major clinical presentation such as seizures, paralysis, and head tilt, covering everything from the responsible anatomy and neurological examination to differential diagnoses, workup, and management, incorporating video footage where relevant.

Your learning will be enriched with videos, photos, and diagrams, complemented by expert feedback as you hone your skills in diagnosing and managing common brain, spinal, and neuromuscular disorders, and learn practical tips for application in general practice.

Past Participants:

Clinical Neurology was my first "large volume course". I was a little frightened to enroll as I run a clinic and have a busy schedule as it is. I came out feeling much more comfortable with approaching Neurological presentations and I am keen to tackle my next CVE course. It was fun.
Ken Robinson

I thoroughly enjoyed the Clinical Neurology course. I am an older graduate and neurology was pretty poorly taught at the University. The course was one of the best I have ever done, the tutors were really helpful in answering my questions and made me feel comfortable asking simple things. I would recommend this course to anyone thinking about doing it.
Donald Wiggins, UK

The course tutors are very good. I recommend this Distance Education course even if Neurology is not my primary interest.
