Reptile Medicine TimeOnline

Gain a better understanding of reptile husbandry, medicine and surgery, to provide veterinary care with competence and confidence.

Many reptile disorders are related to suboptimal husbandry; hence, it is critical to have an understanding of reptilian biology and captive management to diagnose and treat reptilian disorders. The course will cover handlings, sampling techniques, diagnostics, hospital care, anaesthesia, analgesia and critical care, along with the diagnosis and treatment of commonly occurring diseases and injuries. The emphasis of this course will be on captive reptiles; however, interesting and relevant information on the diagnosis and treatment of some conditions in free-living animals will also be mentioned.

Explore the intricate world of reptile care with Dr Robert Johnson who has dedicated much of his impressive career to these fascinating animals and find out what makes them truly different.
