Recognition of the central role of diet and nutrition in the development of chronic enteropathic diseases has revolutionised our approach to these often-frustrating cases. Protein type, fat content and fibre content of the diet may all play a role in the development of chronic gastrointestinal disease, and manipulation of these components of the diet can be crucial for successful therapy.
This webinar will discuss the roles of dietary protein, fat and fibre in gastrointestinal disease from the perspective of an internal medicine practitioner. We will discuss examples of disease processes that may be driven by these dietary components, and strategies for addressing these diseases. Topics to be covered will include Food-Responsive Enteropathy, Protein-Losing Enteropathy, and chronic large intestinal diseases.
What is a WebinarLIVE!?
In support of the veterinary profession, the CVE has made the WebinarLIVE! series open access. Enjoy this CPD with our compliments. You will receive 1 CPD point for every CVE webinar completed.
Webinars are an ideal way to brush up on your skills when you are time poor, restricted by location or just prefer bite size CPD. WebinarLIVE! presentations are led by veterinary experts, watched in real time and are followed by an interactive Q&A. It’s your chance to interact with experts, ask your burning questions and get real-time answers.
And don't worry, if you miss this presentation, members can find these recordings in the CVE's Video Library following the event.
