Recommended readings: There are good chapters in Cowell and Tyler’s Diagnostic Cytology and Haematology (Valencio and Cowell) 2019 Fifth Edition; Elsevier; And the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Clinical Pathology (Villiers and Ristic) (2016): British Small Animal Veterinary Association.

By successfully completing this course, you will:

  • Have a sound diagnostic approach to fluid analysis of body cavity effusions
  • Have a sound diagnostic approach to preparation and assessment of cytology of body cavity effusions
