Dental radiography is, without question, one of the most important diagnostic tools that is utilised when treating dental and oromaxillofacial conditions.
Every case should have a thorough clinical examination and radiographic assessment to formulate targeted and appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
If you have ever felt “I am not good at taking dental X-rays” or “I don’t know what I am looking at” when you are performing dental radiographs, then this course if for you.
This course, led by Dr Kayoko Kuroda, BVSc, MANZCVS and Dr Suruchi Perera, BVSc, MANZCVS, is designed for veterinarians and nurses/ technicians to gain confidence in performing and interpreting small animal dental radiology. The course materials will cover the principles of dental radiography, including dental radiograph equipment, dental radiograph positioning techniques, and an interactive discussion about diagnostic dental radiographs and interpretation for common and uncommon dental pathology.

- Be able to confidently understand the principles of taking dental radiographs, including positioning and correction of common errors
