Learning Outcomes

By successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

Be equipped to receive and triage an emergency exotics patient, and assess severity of illness
Develop a plan for stabilisation and, if indicated, basic diagnostic work-up of the emergency exotics patient
Develop a plan for ongoing management of the emergency exotics patient, until the point of referral or discharge
Perform humane euthanasia where appropriate
