Consequently, bird owners present their pets for skin, feather, beak and nail problems more than for other reasons. Clinicians therefore need a working knowledge of the anatomy and function of skin and its structures, and an understanding of common problems. This course will allow you to understand the basics so you can follow a diagnostic pathway to better address your clients’ concerns and their pets’ needs.
