Mimi Von Meffe
University of Sydney - BVBio & DVM
After graduating her first degree in 3D animation, Mimi went traveling and took on a volunteer role as a zoo keeper assistant. That was when she realised her true passion lies in animal care. Mimi believes in helping those who cannot help themselves - all creatures great and small. She returned to university in Australia to study science for two years before getting into vet school. Mimi has since worked with all kinds of animals in whale research, sea turtle conservation, a wildlife hospital, a rescue shelter, an emergency veterinary hospital, and small animal clinics. She recently adopted Maggie, a stray, who has become a wonderful study buddy and companion. Bringing together the veterinary community is important to Mimi. She enjoys engaging with students, veterinary professionals, and nurses worldwide. She'd love to connect with you and can answer any questions about vet student perks from CVE. Feel free to reach out to Mimi via email or Instagram.
