My name is Sharon Koren and I am DVM2 candidate at the University of Sydney. I chose to become a CVE student ambassador due to my passion for expanding my clinical knowledge. I am also a Hills Student Representative and have been heavily involved in trying to improve the students’ mental health. I have a personal interest in diabetes and I remember learning about the CVE after reading their diabetes seminar booklet last year. Thus, I hope to go into research one day and help improve awareness on how to treat diabetic pets. I am friendly, approachable and I enjoy helping my fellow students with whatever problem they undergo. Building a strong CVE student community and support network is my key focus for the role.
