Dr. Ashlie Saffire is a practicing feline medicine specialist, board certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. She is a 2011 graduate of The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Saffire serves on the board of directors for the American Association of Feline Practitioners, is a published author, and co-tutors the University of Sydney's Feline Medicine Distance Education Course. Dr. Saffire is both Cat-Friendly and Fear-Free certified. Dr. Saffire participates in clinical trials and research studies in feline medicine, in addition to practicing feline internal medicine and management of complex disease processes and disorders. She is fluent in minimally invasive diagnostics such as abdominal ultrasound and endoscopy in addition to advanced feline-specific surgical procedures including perineal urethrostomies, ventral bulla osteotomies, subtotal colectomies, placement of enteral feeding tubes, oncologic surgery, advanced feline dentistry and more.
