Janet Etty-Leal
Janet is an experienced Mindfulness Educator, speaker and author. Through her consultancy ‘Meditation Capsules’ she has provided Mindful life-skill programs in Victoria, interstate and overseas. She is the author of two books on Mindfulness skills and practices for children. She has facilitated programs for corporate, health, sport and community organisations, as well as staff and students at all school levels. Janet has studied with leading international experts, including Dr Norman Doidge, Dr Rick Hanson and Professor Martin Seligman. Content of Janet’s workshops is derived from numerous sources: incorporating insights from current research into Neurophysiology, physical practices deriving from Feldenkrais and Qigong, combined with positive psychology tenets, and mindfulness practices. Janet specializes in bringing mindfulness to life in workplaces, sharing an enquiry- based approach to explore a range of positive concepts and practices for optimal wellbeing. She presents in Global Mindfulness Forums, and her media experience includes ABC Radio and 7 News. Janet is Secretary of the Board of Meditation Australia.
