Natalie Courtman

Associate Professor Natalie Courtman is a specialist veterinary clinical pathologist at the University of Sydney. Natalie graduated from the University of Sydney many years ago and spent nine years in small animal practices in Australia and the UK before embarking on her clinical pathology career. Her passion for continuing professional development led to a Masters from Murdoch University and memberships of the ANZCVS in small animal medicine and pathobiology, and she became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in clinical pathology in 2012. Natalie has extensive experience working in private diagnostics as well as academia. She has been involved in a diverse range of research projects including coagulation, clinical biochemistry, cytology and oncology, assay validation and reference interval studies across a range of species.
