Myles McKenna

Myles obtained his veterinary degree from University College Dublin in 2013. After working in first opinion practice in the UK, he completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Cornell University, USA, in 2015. He subsequently completed a Masters of Veterinary Science at the University of Edinburgh in 2016, with a research project focusing on Lyme borreliosis in dogs. From 2016-2019 he completed a residency in small animal internal medicine at the Royal Veterinary College. During this time he also completed a Masters of Veterinary Medicine, where his research focused on the early diagnosis of renal dysfunction. He became a Diplomate of the American and European colleges of veterinary internal medicine in 2019. After completing his residency he worked for private referral centres in the UK and Australia, before joining University College Dublin as an assistant professor in early 2020.
