Charles is a veterinary epidemiologist at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science, The University of Sydney. He is a trained veterinarian (DVM, France) with expertise in quantitative epidemiology (PhD, Canada; MANZCVS, Epi Chapter) and a speciality in aquatic animal health (MSc, Canada). Charles has pioneered dedicated training in evidence-based veterinary medicine in Australia and continues to educate future veterinarians to become critical thinkers. He has a special interest in the evaluation of the accuracy of diagnostic tests and their fitness-for-purpose.
