Courtney Reddrop

Courtney’s background originally started as a Biochemist working in human medical research and then as a supervisor at a pathology lab during his veterinary studies. Upon graduating from Murdoch University in 2009 he has worked in Emergency & Critical Care in Perth, the Gold Coast, and NSW Northern Rivers for over 16 years. He completed his residency in 2023 becoming a registrar in Emergency & Critical Care. His career experience has been as the veterinary manager at Animal Emergency Service on the Gold Coast from 2016-2021, convenor for the ECC Chapter at the ANZCVS Science Week from 2016 to 2019, President of the ECC Chapter from 2019-2022, and becoming an instructor of the RECOVER Initiative in 2019. He is also one of the founding mentors and developers of the Improve International Accelerated Emergency Program. He has been a mentor to previous and current member candidates and continues to provide seminars and assistance as needed to local veterinarians regarding subjects within the emergency and critical care setting.
