Eduardo Uquillas

Eduardo graduated from the Universidad Mayor, Chile in 2007. Following graduation, he worked as a small animal clinician for 3 years, during this time he completed a post grade diploma in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia in small animals. In 2010 he started a residency in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia at the University Teaching Hospital Camden (UVTHC) in cooperation with the University of Pennsylvania, which he completed in 2015. After completion of the residency, he continues providing the anaesthesia service at UVTHC as well of teaching undergrad students. In 2020 he took up the challenge and became a Senior Lecture in the University and accepted to lead the Anaesthesia and Analgesia services in the University of Sydney teaching hospitals. Eduardo has actively participated in research at UVTHC and had publications in peer-reviewed journals. Eduardo’s main topic is equine anaesthesia with special focus on respiratory function and analgesia.
