Susan completed her veterinary degree at the University of Sydney. After 4 years in general practice, she returned to the University of Sydney to complete an internship, and then moved to North America for a Small Animal Medicine residency at Virginia Tech. Since then, Susan has worked as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor at several veterinary teaching hospitals in North America including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, and is currently at Colorado State University.
