After graduating from the University of Sydney in 2005, Scott started in private small animal practice in Sydney and the United Kingdom. Completing a Master of Commerce in 2010, Scott moved into the Animal Health Industry discovering an interest in anaesthesia, and in 2013 achieved membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Anaesthesia and Critical Care. Since 2018 Scott has been a Resident in Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Sydney (UVTHS).
