Sophia graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013 with first class honours and the University Medal. She started work as a small animal veterinarian in a busy clinic in Western Sydney. In 2017 she completed a rotating internship at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Sydney before going on to do a residency in Emergency and Critical Care medicine. Sophia became a Diplomate of the American College of Emergency and Critical Care in 2021. Sophia’s areas of interest include shock, sepsis and transfusion medicine. She has a very mischievous cat called Omar Little.
