Megan is the manager and head nurse of Avian & Exotics Service. Megan began her vet nursing adventure 8 years ago when one of her beloved guinea pigs fell ill and she learned that exotics vets existed. She promptly packed in her boring office job and hit the books! Megan enjoys working with all exotics, ensuring their species-specific needs are provided to the highest standard, and educating clients and staff. Megan has successfully completed the Advanced Programme in Veterinary Nursing in Avian Species and Small Mammals. When Megan isn’t nutting out innovative exotics procedures, training vet nurses or implementing protocols and procedures to ensure the smooth running of AVES, she is either cuddling small creatures at work or at home, drinking tea in her garden or experimenting with new recipes in her adored kitchen.
