Sarah Goldsmid

Sarah graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986. After working in general practice for 18 months, she returned to complete a residency and Masters degree in Small Animal Surgery. She then worked as a Senior Registrar and consulting specialist for the university and ran a bi-monthly surgical referral service in Tasmania for 20 years. Sarah gained Fellowship recognition in 1996. She was a founding director of the Animal Referral Hospital in 1999. The ARH now has over 650 staff and 8 referral and emergency sites across Australia (Homebush, Baulkham Hills, Central Coast, Wollongong, Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane). Her interests include all areas of small animal surgery - soft tissue, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, oncologic and reconstructive surgery. She has a husband and two adult children and is addicted to skiing.
