Jen Davis graduated with a veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow in 2005. During the next seven years, while working in general practice in the UK and Australia, she developed an interest in anaesthesia and analgesia. In 2011 Jen passed the Memberships Examination in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Critical care with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS). In 2012 she commenced a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at Murdoch University, passing the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia Diploma in 2015 to become an internationally recognised specialist. Jen also completed a Masters in Veterinary Science (research) during her residency. In 2016, Jen commenced a PhD at Murdoch University, investigating the early diagnosis of acute kidney injury in dogs. Jen enjoys all aspects of veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia, but particularly that of critically ill small animals.
