Poor husbandry and diet are often cited as the most common cause of illness in exotic pets.
With a range of species kept as “exotics”, most of which are not truly domesticated, their complex environmental and social needs can often be lacking in their domestic setting. What is appropriate husbandry, what is inappropriate and where is the evidence? The aim of this talk 'Role of husbandry in health & disease of exotic pets' by Dr Izidora Sladakovic is to introduce general aspects of exotics husbandry and how they relate to health and disease.
