15th Robert Dixon Animal Welfare Symposium
15th Robert Dixon Animal Welfare Symposium
The management of unowned cats is a controversial issue worldwide and of interest to a range of stakeholders from animal welfare advocates, cat rescue and rehomers, cat lovers, conservationists, ecologists and policy decision makers.
Join our panel of global experts in this field as we delve into discussing the ethical, animal welfare, practical and sociopolitical issues surrounding the management of unowned cats. We invite our panel members to offer their opinions on welfare friendly solutions to unowned cat management that may be able to be incorporated into policies worldwide. If you’re interested in animal welfare, cats or unowned cat management, this event is not to me missed.
This 15th Annual Robert Dixon Animal Welfare Symposium is presented in collaboration with the Centre for Veterinary Education and graciously funded by the Jessie Mary Briggs Bequest. It is a tribute to Dr Robert Dixon, whose dedication as the Associate Dean for Animal Welfare continues to inspire countless hearts.
