Respiratory Distress: Initial Stabilisation EmergencyLIVE!
Respiratory Distress: Initial Stabilisation EmergencyLIVE!
Respiratory distress can be one of the most challenging emergency presentations for clinicians to manage.

As diagnostic tests are often very limited in these patients, this presentation with Dr Kate Hopper beaming in live from UC Davis will focus on core clinical signs that help guide initial therapy. A simple approach to causes of respiratory distress in dogs and cats will be described that helps clinicians rapidly narrow down the potential differential diagnoses. Empiric treatment plans based on this assessment will be discussed.
