Master Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT) with confidence and precision.
Through a blend of theoretical lectures and hands-on wet lab sessions, this dynamic workshop is designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge and practical skills to perform VPT in general practice settings.
Transition from theory to practice in our immersive wet lab experience, where you'll be at the center of action. Under the expert tutelage of Dr. Tony Caiafa and Dr. Kayo Kuroda, apply your newfound knowledge by performing VPT on extracted canine teeth. This practical phase is designed to reflect real-life scenarios, guiding you through the entire VPT process—from the sterile amputation of coronal pulp, the application of reparative medicaments, to the sealing techniques crucial for protecting against bacterial ingress.
Learn how VPT offers the best outcomes in younger dogs (under 18 months) and understand the nuances of performing it on cases more than two days post-trauma. The importance of both short- and long-term radiographic monitoring, alongside visual and tactile assessment of the restoration, will be emphasized, ensuring you're prepared for all aspects of post-operative care.
Get set for a transformative learning experience that's as real as it gets!

Ideally balanced combination of theoretical and hands-on education, our workshops allow participants to obtain the most benefit possible through practical application of the skills being taught. Small group teaching with a high tutor to participant ratio will ensure that you benefit from individual attention from your highly regarded and experienced tutor/s.
